Trajectum Lumen begins in front of the Apollo Hotel at Vredenburg. During evening hours, this serves as the main information centre. Additionally, the hotel hosts the very first artwork on the trail. Every six months, students of the Utrecht School of the Arts (HKU) create a new, dynamic, interactive projection before the entrance of the Apollo Hotel. The light trail in the ground, which leads you along Trajectum Lumen and through the city centre, starts nearby in Zakkerdragersteeg.
